Tokyo Spring 2020

Out of all the amazing things that the beautiful city of Tokyo has to offer, we were lucky enough to witness the fabulous Tokyo Spring 2020 event. An event of extravagant partying, bold patterns, bright colours, and elaborate dresses. It was the world of fashion and style exhibited nowhere before.

If you are in need of fashion that could turn you into a style icon, then scroll down to find some of the fantastic style tips we have collected from Tokyo Spring 2020:

Animal print

Animal print has been in fashion forever, and we don't see it going anywhere, anytime soon. Tokyo Spring 2020 gave us major inspiration to style our outfits using leopard and lion prints. We could totally see these prints in our windbreakers, floor-grazing silhouettes, and pleated dresses.

Tie-Dye Patterns

The tie-dye patterns we saw at Tokyo Spring 2020 had us all drooling over them. Cropped trousers, patch-worked patterns, and rumpled metallic suits; what more could a girl ask for?

Androgynous

This theme took the fashion week to new heights of glory as everyone could see themselves in the lush and beautiful clothes which weren’t only limited to one sex. Wide-leg trousers, navy jackets, and bright blue drawstring pants added to the androgynous styling.

Uniforms

The military references in the uniform style dresses, the baggy belted shirtdresses and trench coats were undeniably stunning. The style consisted of tiered fringe skirts and triple-striped shirts paired with python flats. Totally flattering!

Vintage

The use of deadstock and vintage material to create overalls and windbreakers for youngsters, and turtlenecks and blazers for adults was something entirely out of this world. Stamp prints, camouflage designs, and cannabis motifs enhanced our aesthetic sense in the beautiful city that Tokyo is.
