April & Alex is a London-based womenswear and footwear brand owned by British / Nigerian Award-winning Journalist, and Creative Director Didi Akinyelure. 

We are passionate about creating fashion-forward statement pieces that women feel empowered in.

Sustainability is at the core of our business model at April & Alex. We work with sustainable fabrics such as Lyocell and Tencel, and premium reclaimed and recycled fabrics in all our collections. These high-quality fabrics are sourced in Italy, from overproduction, and dead-stock, providing a second chance to fabric which would otherwise have been destroyed.

Our circular fabric standard has been drafted in conformity with ISO 14021 and has been subjected to verification and validation from the independent institute Centrocot.

April & Alex is a member of the British Fashion Council. Our apparel collections are Made in London, and shown via the London Fashion Week platform.

Our footwear designs are handcrafted in Italy by renowned artisans, known for their exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail.
